The unemployment rate is low because the Department of Labor does not count the unemployed if they no longer qualify for unemployment benefits. Over 200,000 lost their unemployment benefits this weekend alone which would mean the unemployment rate will go down even though it is much higher in reality. The real unemployment is over 11% and a majority of jobs being created are seasonal or short-term. The so-called recovery was created by misrepresented unemployment rates and jobs only meant to last a few months.

Actually Romney is partially right. The unemployment rate is low because the Department of Labor does not count the unemployed if they no longer qualify for unemployment benefits. Over 200,000 lost their unemployment benefits this weekend alone which would mean the unemployment rate will go down even though it is much higher in reality.

The real unemployment is over 11% and a majority of jobs being created are seasonal or short-term. The so-called recovery was created by misrepresented unemployment rates and jobs only meant to last a few months.
