Rand Paul Forces Obama To Admit He Can Kill Americans With Drones, MSM Mocks Him For Speaking Too Long Yesterday, Senator Rand Paul spoke for nearly 13 hours during his filibuster effort to block a Senate vote on CIA Director nominee, John Brennan. Rand was using his filibuster privilege to force Obama to publicly state whether or not he will (or has the authority to) assassinate American citizens with drones. But instead of taking the filibuster seriously and actually discussing Obama’s power to extrajudicially kill American citizens without due process, the MSM, mainly CNN, mocked Rand Paul with corny jokes on their television broadcast and ignored the issue on their websites. In fact, most of the MSM failed to mention the filibuster or the PODUS power to assassinate Americans on their front page. Just a day prior to the filibuster, Attorney General Eric Holder wrote a letter to Rand Paul admitting that Obama can in fact kill American citizens on U.S. soil but “has no intention to do so”. The debate comes after the NBC release a 16 page “White Papers” prepared by the DOJ attempting to justify Obama’s power to secretly extrajudicially kill American citizens without due process. Obama has previously assassinated at least three American citizens using drones, including 16 year old Abdulrahman Al-Aulaqi, but it wasn’t until recently that the public was told that our president had the power to kill American citizens inside of our borders.  In related new, Rand Paul mentioned drones more times than Congress has in history, just after the first seven hours the filibuster.
